Overall, this hotel is a great value.

Room types range from comfortable standard rooms, spacious junior suites and a fabulous two bedroom master suite with a four-person Jacuzzi.  South-facing rooms on the top three floors have magnificent views of the Central Valley Mountains and the southern neighborhoods in the city.

The Hotel Presidente is home to the News Café, a favorite spot for Costa Ricans and tourists on their Costa Rica vacations alike. Tasty comfort food is served in a fun, relaxed ambiance, overlooking the boulevard.  This is a great location for lunch or simply to try some of the country’s famous coffees and excellent desserts.  Many commercial establishments can be found within walking distance, including bars, souvenir shops, restaurants and supermarkets.
