Top 10 Things to Do in Costa Rica

1. Unwind under a 102o F waterfall at Tabacón Resort and Hot Springs in the Arenal Volcano Region, and then indulge in a Volcanic Hot Stone or a Thai Massage at the spa.  You will achieve complete relaxation!

2. Take a white water rafting tour down the Pacuare River.  Rise to the challenge of its class IV rapids while you enjoy breathtaking scenery. End your tour with a peaceful swim through a canyon between two mountains.

3. Explore the Corcovado National Park, one most ecologically diverse, unspoiled and nature-intense regions on Earth.  Go deep into the rainforest and spot the colorful scarlet macaw or a large tapir.

4. Visit the five majestic La Paz Waterfalls at the Peace Lodge.  Admire the butterfly garden and hike along the Sarapiqui River bank.  Stop by at the nearby Poas Volcano.

5. Play a round of golf in the Central Valley in the morning, then a round near the beach in the afternoon.

6. Catch (and release!) a blue marlin in the Pacific Ocean.

7. Take close-up photographs of three different types of monkeys at Manuel Antonio National Park – they will come right up to you.

8. Take the night tour to watch the Leatherback or the Giant Green turtles laying their eggs on either the Caribbean or Pacific Ocean shores.

9. Experience the serenity of the Monteverde Cloud Forest.  Later, walk on the suspended bridges over the forest or feel the rush of a Canopy Tour.

10. Indulge in some of the best people watching in Costa Rica as you wash down a casado with an Imperial beer at the News Café, on the Avenida Central walking boulevard in San Jose.
