The itinerary for this wonderful golf + adventure + spa package is:
Day 1: Arrive in San Jose and transfer to your city hotel. Explore the city’s diverse restaurants and exciting nightlife.
Day 2: Get an early start to your white water rafting expedition. After a two-hour drive to the shores of the Reventazon River and a brief safety and instructional presentation, you will jump to a four-hour rafting experience in this popular Class III river. Back in the city in time for dinner and to enjoy the San Jose nightlife.
Day 3: In the morning after breakfast enjoy a challenging 18-hole round in San Jose. After lunch, board your transfer bus to the warm and sunny Guanacaste Region. Check into your hotel and take in the incredible scenery and wonderful local hospitality.
Day 4: Arrive at the golf course for a round by the sea. Enjoy the natural surroundings, the cool ocean breeze and the challenging holes. Take the afternoon to explore the beaches, swim in the warm waters of the Pacific Ocean, and walk into town for a one-of-a-kind culinary adventure.
Day 5: After a morning round of golf, board the shuttle for your transfer to the Arenal Region. The drive will take you through the flatlands of Guanacaste, home of spectacular cattle ranches, fish farms and cotton plantations. Arrive in Tilaran and experience a sudden change in the weather and in vegetation, as you reach the shores of Lake Arenal, the largest in the country. Enjoy the scenery and observe the rainforest surrounding the lake. Check in at your hotel.
Day 6: The relaxing part of the trip starts now. Transfer to the Tabacón Spa & Hot Springs for an relaxing day at the spa. Choose between a Swedish massage, a full body volcanic mud wrap or a deep facial. Explore the botanical gardens and relax under the 102 degree waterfall. At night, if weather permits, witness the energy of the active Arenal Volcano as lava flows from its main crater. Overnight in the Arenal region.
Day 7: You’ll have the morning free to enjoy the resort or perhaps venture on a half-day canopy experience or visit the hanging bridges of Arenal. After lunch, board the shuttle for the three-hour drive back to San Jose. Check in at your hotel.
